This banner ad contains 2 optimized images which are hyperlinked, and keyword rich text which is also hyperlinked to the site.  The search engine spiders (bots) will read the following for relevancy: image name    (both are named w/ keywords) the alternative image text    (both alt img tags are rich w/ keywords) follow the link    (brining them to your site! so you will be indexed too) read the text    (linked to your site, also keyword rich) By creating a link that provides optimized images and TEXT links you get so much more search engine visibility as your link partner's web sites are crawled and indexed.
